Hi Sabrina, I'm so sorry to be so late. No you won't. I know I should be apologizing. I'm stuck to you around enough as it is.
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no. It's all good. It's all good. It's just it's just difficult when you because I'm booked out all the time.
And so trying to navigate calendars and fit people in in between other calls becomes difficult sometimes. But it's all good. We're here now. So let's have a chat.
So I'd love to hear from you if you don't mind sharing what it was that inspired you to reach out to Amanda. Well, she basically actually she just came up in my TikTok feed because obviously I'm. For one of a better words, the biggest one of the biggest conspiracy theorists out there. I doubt it.
I doubt it's Sabrina. I'll I'll see you for your conspiracy theorist and raise you a thousand. Yeah, it's not like that, isn't it? Yeah, those of us that are all white know what's going on.
So yeah, we're all sort of looking for different ways of getting out of the whole frickin matrix and bits and pieces and and yeah, and I've been watching a lot with the financial system and stuff like that. It's like, there's got to be a way getting off this without, you know, and surviving when the shit hits the fan because we're not going to be able to stop it. It's still going to happen. Yeah, that's right.
So we're just going to make good choices now to ensure that, you know, the way that we move our money around and operate is in such a way that safeguards us from what's coming. Yeah, exactly. And that's a good thing. I mean, I've moved out of Brisbane back to my property out of regional Queensland out West sort of thing, just because I can see what's going to happen in Brisbane because it, you know, with the COVID bits and pieces, it's like, yeah, I'm out of here.
I'm going to go back home just to safeguard and have a little bit of property where we can, you know, try and make ourselves a little bit more self sustainable when it does happen. Yeah, that's great. Yeah, well done. Well done.
So, yeah, that's good. It's good that you're sort of ahead of the curve a little bit, which is great. Yeah. So I'd love to just share a little bit of something with you.
So what Amanda and I are doing is pretty much a blockchain based strategy where we move our money, where we've moved our money out of the system into the blockchain and we're earning an average of about eight and a half to 10% per month on our money. And so, which is obviously good and we're helping other people to do the same. So, so I just want to ask you that if we, you know, if we have this conversation and you decide to do something, do you have at least a few thousand dollars that you'd like to move out of the system? Yeah, I'm a little bit tired at the moment.
Obviously, because of the move, it's cost me a bloody fortune because I've got horses and stuff like that. It's at the moment. The money's not there. I've been looking at that trying to figure out how I could get the cash together.
So, but I want to at least know what the strategies and what's out there and what's available so that when I am ready, I'm not having to chase up and go, oh, how do I do it now? So at least I know in my mind, I can sort of start planning and structuring and saying, OK, I'm ready now. I've got the cash. Let's do this.
OK, do you have anything to get started with now? Not really. OK. That ridiculously freaking try to catch up now with what's, how, you know, with the cost.
It's cost me nearly five grand to move back here. OK, look, it's best when we sort of talk with people who don't really have anything right now, the best thing to do, Sabrina, is to have a more full discussion when you do have a few thousand dollars. So when you've got, you know, anywhere between sort of two and three, five thousand dollars, something like that, it's better to have a discussion then because the blockchain is very dynamic and things change all the time. So I'd hate to sort of go through all of this with you now and then it might take you a couple of months to get together some money or whatever it might be.
And then we talk and you say, I want to go ahead with that thing. And it's like, there's another thing now, you know. Oh, yeah. Well, no, I get that.
No, that's fair enough. No, I understand that that's that's pretty cool. I mean, I'm tinkering a little bit with with crypto and stuff like that anyway, myself. Yeah.
But you know, on a very minimum scale, but I'm sort of just playing around with it. But you know, that's fair enough. I get that because the system is changing constantly. Absolutely.
So what I'd say, yes, I would say Sabrina is once you've got a few thousand dollars together, you've got my mobile number. So just feel free to text me and we'll have a more full discussion then. All right. Yeah.
Now question, though, one of the girls, because I follow her on TikTok as well. I can't think of a bloody name, though. She hooked up with you, you guys as well, because obviously she's doing the same sort of similar thing to what you guys are doing. Do you know anything about how to change over and decentralize super at all then or not?
Who have you spoken with? Who have you seen? What's is it? I don't think of a bloody name.
Hold on a second. She just come up with my feed before. Let me just see if I can find it again. Is it Gabriella?
I don't know. Honestly, hold on. I can't see what her name is. Gabriella, yeah, that's it.
Okay. Look, she doesn't, so she's not licensed to be doing anything with superannuation. I'm not licensed to do anything with superannuation either. But I used to be a financial advisor.
What I can share with you is that, yes, people are setting up self-managed superannuation funds. And they're using it to invest in these platforms. So, yes. Okay, yeah, okay.
Because that's sort of something I was thinking that that's how that worked. Yeah, and because, you know, let's be serious, super is a freaking banking fund for the bloody government. It's got nothing to do for us. Yeah.
Yeah. They can take it tomorrow. That's what happened to groups. Okay.
Yeah. And I've got two lots of superannuation. Unfortunately, one of them is tied up as a government super, which is a real pain in the arse. Mm-hmm.
Because that's really restricted. They won't let you do anything with it. No, they don't. They don't.
No, no, no. I've got, I've got, obviously, a separate super, which is after I got out of the military, I've got my other super. So, I sort of was looking to try and do something with that to see if there's any way I can use that to do this sort of thing. So, it was just a matter of how I got out of it.
Yeah. Well, there's a website called esuperfund.com.au. So, this is what people seem to be using to set up their self-managed superannuation funds. With money in industry funds that they can roll over.
So, there's that. So, what I would suggest is, you know, if you wanted to go down that path, you could. It takes about four to six, sometimes eight weeks to get all of that set up. That's just how it works.
Yeah. And then, when you've got all that set up, if you want to do something with it, let me know. Just reach out and let me know. Yeah.
And I can help you to get started. But in the interim, when you do get some money together, even if it's only, you know, $1,000 or $2, we can start you with something just to get you foot in the door and go from there. Yeah. Okay.
Cool. All right. Beautiful. Now I know I can, like I said, I'm working towards it, but it's just been like, uh, no, I get it.
I understand. No problem. Yeah. I had the money there.
It was like, oh, I had plenty of cash there. It was like, but this just cost me a fortune. That's okay. I understand.
All good. So, and you can save my number, send me your text and, um, and we'll go from there. Oh, that's beautiful. All right.
No worries at all. Look, thank you very much for your time, Michael. You're welcome. I know where I'm here.
Listen, I want stories now and then I can, I can work towards it and I'll give you a bell then. Okay. Sounds good. Thanks Sabrina.
Talk soon. You always have a good day. You too. Bye.
Bye. Bye.
