Why Doing the Work Never Changed Your Life | The Myth of Modern Men's Work, Part 4 of 5
You did the work for years, and your life never changed.
This is Part 4 of The Myth of Modern Men's Work, a five-part series.
I did not watch the men's work industry from the outside. I sat in the circles, I was on the weekly calls, and I kept my own machine running longer than I should have. The hard men tell you to armour up. The soft men tell you to take the armour off and feel. Both are wrong about what the armour is for. It was never your strength and it was never your problem. It is a door. You do not have a feelings problem, you have a clarity problem, and shadow work has no bottom, so a man can spend a decade swimming in it, more aware every year, while his job and his marriage sit exactly where they were.
Watch all five before you make any large decision off the back of one.
