Why you resent the person you gave everything up for | Compromise
You resent the person you gave everything up for, and they have no idea why.
"You start to hate the people you compromised for. Not for what they did. For what you did to yourself in their name."
From my book Compromise: The Ultimate Betrayal.
In the first year or two, you give things up and you say nothing. Then it starts leaking out in one-word answers and cold looks and slammed doors. They have no idea why you're angry, because you never told them what you were giving up.
Most people have a pattern like this running and don't know it's there. If you want to find yours, do the Atlas. It names the pattern running your life in a single sitting. It's free at codexofthearchitect.com
This is one transmission. The Atlas takes your own pattern and shows you the structure underneath it, free.
