From the architects Codex a quote from before approaching the threshold Beliefs are not files that are stored in the conscious or unconscious mind They're not optional add-ons that you can swap out when they no longer serve you Beliefs are architecture They are the walls and foundations of load bearing structures of your psychological building and They were installed before you could speak The personal development industry implies that beliefs are like files on a computer outdated ones can be dragged to the trash better ones installed in their place The model is wrong in a way that guarantees failure From birth to approximately age 7 your mind absorbed everything without evaluation your mother's Anxiety when money was discussed recorded Your father's silence when emotions were expressed they were recorded too By the time you develop the cognitive capacity to question a believer was no longer Experienced as a belief it was experienced as reality as just how things are So the walls are already built. You don't see them.
